ALBERT DORIA , JR.

President & CEO

Albert Doria Jr. is a husband & father, sports and travel enthusiast, a community leader, and the Founder, Owner & President of Gulf Coast Insurance, LLC in Naples, FL and First Carolina Insurance, LLC in Lexington, SC. Albert started his insurance career right out of college in 1994 serving as an agent, underwriter, and claims adjuster for a National Insurance company in SC & FL. Albert founded GCI in 2000 to fill a need. Believe it or not, Albert has a life outside of insurance. He is a lover of sports, especially college football, and he enjoys traveling-- seeing neat places. He has been a youth coach, served on various non-profit boards, and volunteered throughout the community. What Albert values most is being a husband & father. Albert is married to the former, Jennifer Karen Lucas from Gilbert, SC and they have five children, Graylyn, Noah, Tebow, AJ, and Sophia.

JENNIFER L. DORIA

Vice President of Finance

Jennifer L. Doria, a member of the Gulf Coast Insurance leadership team, is a lifelong resident of Gilbert, South Carolina. She graduated from Lexington High School where she excelled in academics and was a varsity cheerleader. Jennifer attended Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina where she earned a degree in Elementary Education and then went on to earn a Master's degree from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. After educating children in Lexington District One for 25 years, she retired from the classroom in 2020. Jennifer and her husband, Albert Doria Jr., are the proud parents of five children, Graylyn, Noah, Tebow, AJ and Sophia. When not at work, she can be found spending time with family, reading, at the beach, traveling or decorating and organizing her home. She loves country music, attending concerts and college football, especially the Clemson Tigers.

CHADD HEERSEMA

Director of Sales

Chadd was born and raised in Naples, Florida, where he developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and unique lifestyle that the Sunshine State offers. After graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University, Chadd pursued a career in the insurance industry, where he has since honed his skills and knowledge. With a strong foundation in insurance and business development, Chadd is able to provide clients with tailored solutions that meet their specific needs, ensuring peace of mind and reliable coverage.

Chadd's expertise goes beyond just technical knowledge—he has a passion for helping others and building lasting relationships with his clients. His approach is driven by a dedication to understanding each individual's needs and offering guidance through every step of the process. His vast experience in the industry allows him to navigate even the most complex situations with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, Chadd enjoys embracing the Florida lifestyle to the fullest with his wife, Maddie. Whether spending time fishing on the boat, exploring the countless hidden gems across the state, or enjoying the great outdoors, Chadd’s love for his home state keeps him grounded and connected to the community. His passion for Florida’s natural beauty and diverse culture reflects the energy and enthusiasm he brings to his professional life as well.

SHELBY STOLL

Agent / Office Manager - Florida

Shelby Rae Stoll was born and raised in Naples, FL. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s in social work. She started her insurance career in August 2006 at Gulf Coast Insurance and has been serving the SWFL community ever since. Her job entails a little bit of everything within customer service but a bigger role as the Personal Lines Renewal Specialist. She considers herself an old soul who works hard, which is a great asset to the GCI Team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter. On the weekends, you can find her out and about exploring the town/culture, at the local softball fields, a country concert or church. A fun fact about her is that she roots for "The" Ohio State!

MORGAN PHELPS

Agent / Office Manager - South Carolina

Morgan Phelps is from a small town in Spartanburg, SC called Boiling Springs. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, but her background is in customer service. She has been a part of the GCI team since 2019 and now serves as an Account Manager. She is a proud dog mom to her Border Collies and enjoys exploring new places with them. She enjoys traveling, HOTWORX and being by the pool. In her free time, she can be found out with her friends or curled up in bed with a good book. A little-known fact about Morgan is that she is striving to live a sustainable lifestyle.

ASHLEY ESTRADA

Account Manager

Ashley Estrada is a Senior Account Manager at Gulf Coast Insurance with over a decade of experience in the industry, supporting clients with their insurance needs since 2010. As a licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, she is recognized for her professionalism, industry knowledge, and commitment to delivering clear, reliable guidance to every client she serves.

Outside of the office, Ashley is a proud mother of three who values time spent with family and friends, especially enjoying Southwest Florida’s beautiful beaches. In her free time, she enjoys reading, performing improv, and exploring local coffee shops.

ASHLEY HOYT

Account Manager

Ashley Hoyt is a dedicated professional in the insurance industry. Hailing from Connecticut and raised in the vibrant state of Florida, Ashley has been a proud resident of Naples for nearly a decade. Growing up in a bustling household with seven siblings, she understands the value of connection and effective communication, traits that have seamlessly transitioned into her career. When she's not assisting clients with their insurance needs, Ashley finds solace in the company of her two charming Shiba Inus and indulges in her passion for boating and fishing on the weekends. With over 14 years of invaluable experience in customer service, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a personal line’s agent. Her dedication to providing exceptional service and tailored solutions ensures that her clients feel secure and protected. Ashley's personable nature, coupled with her unwavering commitment to professionalism, makes her an invaluable asset to our team at Gulf Coast Insurance.

JAMIE MILLER

Account Manager

Jamie Miller, is a Florida born, South Carolina–raised insurance professional, as well as a proud wife and mother of two. She brings a strong background in customer service and marketing, allowing her to connect with clients and provide a personalized, thoughtful experience. Prior to joining Gulf Coast Insurance, Jamie was a licensed Life and Health insurance agent, where she developed a passion for helping individuals and families protect their financial future. Today, she continues that mission by guiding clients through their insurance decisions with clarity, care, and attention to detail.

Jamie’s well-rounded experience and client-first approach bring a unique and valuable perspective to the team. She is known for her responsiveness, dedication, and ability to make complex insurance concepts easy to understand. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys tackling DIY projects around her home and spending quality time with family and friends.

STEPHEN DIMASSIMO

Agent

Born in Fort Myers, Florida, Stephen was raised in Rochester, New York, where he developed a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout his life, he frequently vacationed in Southwest Florida, fostering a deep connection to the region & beautiful beaches and relaxed lifestyle. About 2.5 years ago, he made the permanent move to Fort Myers to embrace the Florida life full-time.

Stephen holds a degree in hospitality and successfully owned and operated two restaurants in the Rochester area, honing his skills in operations, customer service, and team management. He has also accumulated extensive experience in the real estate industry, working in various capacities while building and managing his own portfolio of rental properties. He currently holds an active Florida real estate license.

In addition, Stephen brings years of expertise in insurance sales, specializing in both property and casualty as well as life insurance, where he has helped clients protect what matters most. Outside of work, Stephen enjoys golfing on Florida & scenic courses, relaxing on the stunning Southwest Florida beaches, and most importantly, spending quality time with his son Jack and his fiancée Natalie.

ANDREW PALUMBO

Agent

Andrew Palumbo was born in New Jersey and spent much of his childhood in England, where he developed a deep passion for soccer and quickly excelled in the sport. When his family moved to Fort Myers, Florida, he continued pursuing that passion at Bishop Verot High School, where he helped lead his team to multiple championships and was named Florida’s Player of the Year three times which led to his induction into the hall of fame. Andrew went on to play collegiate soccer at Northern Illinois University while completing his degree, before earning the opportunity to compete professionally in Sweden, where he played for seven years.

After his time overseas, Andrew returned to Florida to be closer to family and begin a new chapter in his career. He transitioned into the insurance industry, where he discovered a strong passion for helping individuals and families protect what matters most. Known for his integrity, dedication, and relationship driven approach, Andrew takes pride in guiding clients through important decisions with care and attention. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, relaxing at the beach, and staying involved in the sport he loves by refereeing youth soccer in the local community.

ANGELA ALLEN

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Angela Allen has been a member of our team at Gulf Coast Insurance for over 14 years and currently serves as a licensed agent specializing in commercial lines. She has established longstanding relationships with our commercial client base by evaluating their needs and eliminating potential gaps in coverage for losses that may arise as a business owner. Angela is a Naples native and attended high school locally at Barron Collier High School and was a proud member of the US Marine Corps for four years. She has three children and is a proud grandmother to a baby girl. In her free time, she enjoys reading and drawing and spending time with her expanding family.

NANCY DEVRIES

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Nancy is originally from Chicago with deep roots in Florida. She brings a multi-faceted background to the team, having previously served as a Risk Manager, business owner, and corporate insurance trainer. Throughout her career, she remained dedicated to delivering exceptional results, focusing primarily on customer service and education. Nancy has experience with all types of business insurance and specializes in construction and real estate accounts driven by her passion for architecture, design and innovation. Outside of the office, Nancy enjoys traveling, participating in charitable activities and playing tennis with her family and friends.

GRAYLYN CLAMP

Customer Service

Graylyn Clamp joined the GCI team in 2021 where she started her insurance career as a customer service representative. After developing a strong customer service background Graylyn transitioned to being Account Manager. She is a daughter, sister, and friend to many. She was born and raised in Gilbert, South Carolina and graduated from Gilbert High School. When she's not working, Graylyn loves to spend her summers at Edisto Beach and on Lake Murray. She enjoys country music concerts, the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. She is excited to continue to expand her knowledge and service her clients.

CAROLYN CHIEGO

Customer Service

Carolyn Chiego was raised in Summit, NJ, before permanently relocating to beautiful Naples Florida, 3 years ago. She obtained a BS in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, OH and has been a licensed Real Estate Agent since 1991. Carolyn was co-owner of her family business for the last 25 years in Atlanta, GA. Carolyn has 3 beautiful daughters, who are all attending graduate and undergraduate universities, in 3 different states. Carolyn and her girls love boating and spending time at the beach. Carolyn is a member of the Bichon Frise Club, which helps foster and place Bichon Frises in our area in forever homes.

KENNY ST. LOUIS

Customer Service

Kenny, born in Miami, FL and raised in Naples, FL, holds a bachelor's degree in Film/Photography from Full Sail University. Since graduation, he has honed his photography skills while working in customer service. Family-oriented and the youngest of four siblings, Kenny finds joy in spending time with loved ones and assisting his older brother in coaching local youth sports teams. When not behind the lens, he enjoys watching sports, gaming, and capturing moments through his photography.
